The story begins with a young girl who dreams of a world where rabbits where waist coats and flowers sing. Ten years later she is about to be wedded to a man she has not chosen to herself. She is soon distracted by a white rabbit and follows him down the rabbit hole where the adventure begins. She is faced with the challenges of restoring balance in this dream like world. She is looked as a magnificent human being in this world and helps her overcome her fears of being brave and important in her own world.

This version of Alice in Wonderland uses a lot of dialogue and would be a energizing book to read, filled with adventure and magical descriptions. This would be a fit for any student who enjoys magical places and adventure. The book touches on young relationships, bravery and self empowerment.
