In the midst of Hayley’s parents splitting, Hayley is moved to San Miguel, Mexico to live with her ecentric grandmother while her mother heals from her depression. Hayley befriends her neighbor, learn Mexican culture and spanish, while dealing with the hard earned truth of life. That her parents are getting divorced and the only person she can make happy is herself.
This is a great book for those who are having a hard time dealing with change. Just as change is necessary and natural for some, may be hard and difficult for others. A great book for those needing a realistic view of how to move on.
